Welcome to the Central Ohio Chapter of Muskies Inc.
In 1984, a group of dedicated musky anglers got together and started this organization.
The Central Ohio Chapter was organized at Columbus, Ohio on March 25th 1985. The following officers were elected; Maurice Potvin Jr., President; Dick Davis, Vice-President; Thurman Adair, Secretary; Jack Dildine, Treasurer and Maurice Potvin, Regional Vice-President.
Since this humble beginning, our membership has continued to grow and our catch success has improved greatly due to sharing of information.
Our meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month. (See Current News page for meeting location.) We hold a couple of meetings at Alum Creek Lake each summer (July and August) with a cookout and fishing till dark.
Our club tries to have a Kid’s Fishing Outing each year which is very popular with the kids and volunteers. We want to introduce fishing to as many children as we can and encourage family participation.
Tournaments and outings are scheduled each season at Alum Creek and Clear Fork Lakes, plus other lakes that vary each year. See Tournaments and Events page for this listing.
